Godzilla US: GODZILLA

History: Decades after the first Godzilla appeared and was subsequently killed in 1954, the lurking fear that it was not the only one of it's kind lingered throughout the ages. In the 1970s, a benevolent Godzilla appeared and fought off the 1st and 2nd Simeon invasions along with a prototype machine that greatly resembled what they found at the bottom of the sea. This 2nd Godzilla vanished without a trace. Later in 2011, a 3rd Godzilla was found on Lagos Island, and it was not belevolent like the one from the 70s. A military response to Lagos island was imminent.


However before the military aircraft could reach their destination, they where mysterious destroyed. It was now clear that whatever was destroying these ships was NOT the creature they had just recently sighted. To add to this, the disapperances of ships was occuring far before the pteranadon, Rodan and it's mate Soran where first sighted at Glacier Island in Alaska. The real cause of the shipwrecks would then reveal itself in the form of a 2nd, larger Godzilla than the one from 1954. Rising off the coast of Lagos Island (Coincidentally the same place where it mutated and became Godzilla), this new Godzilla was met with an unfriendly greeting by Rodan and Soran and thus the two giants did battle. The Rodans where eventually subdued and knocked unconsious. Godzilla returned to the sea to feed. However within the span of a few weeks his food source began to run out and he was forced to move farther out at sea, near the coast of California. Numerous attempts by the military where attempted to defeat Godzilla from naval bombardments and even a MOAB strike which had slightly weakened the dinosaur. By this time Mechagodzilla and Garuda had been released and where fighting a rejuvinated Rodan and Soran in downtown Los Angeles. Rodan and Soran, while fast and agile, where simply no match for the unbearably powerful firepower of both machines.


Godzilla rose from the sea and bellowed aloud. The sound was immediatly recognized by Mechagodzilla and Garuda who headed towards the waterfront to combat their primary target. Mechagodzilla and Godzilla went head to head while Garuda took care of the US military. Mechagodzilla alone proved more than a match for Godzilla as it's superior strengh and armor gave it the edge in combat. Combinging with Garuda, Super-Mechagodzilla was now allowed to use it's deadly HELIOS eye beams, unleashed their power on Godzilla who attempted to get up and fight back. Now right as it seemed that Mechagodzilla would claim the title of King of the Monsters, Rodan; badly wounded, flew to their rescue and was promptly backhanded into a building and obliterated by Super-Mechagodzilla. This gave Godzilla valuble time as he began to use mechagodzilla's own weapons against it to weaken it's nigh-indestructible armor to the point where the US army began to hammer Mechagodzilla with everything they had. Heavily damaged, Mechagodzilla still continued on, determined to complete it's purpose and kill Godzilla. However the odds where not in it's favor when the reactor lens on it's stomach was damaged and with a final, devastating blast of atomic energy, Godzilla destroyed the lens on Mechagodzilla's reactor and the machine overloaded and was shut down permenantly. Today, victory belonged to Godzilla, though the scars of this battle would linger with him forever.


Almost a year later, Godzilla was sighted off the coast of San Francisco. King Ghidorah was immediatly sent to intercept. Flying at supersonic speeds, King Ghidorah was escorted by a squadron of F-22 Raptors in order to increase the chanse of King Ghidorah's success. Arriving in a matter of hours, King Ghidorah immediatly engaged Godzilla from the sky, the 3 headed beast's Gravity Beams ravaging the smaller Godzilla with ease. Ghidorah landed and took the battle to close quarters where here it too hads the advantage. King Ghidorah thrashed Godzilla with ease, using it's size and strength to dominate the fight. Godzilla however refused to die, with each blow Ghidorah landed Godzilla kept coming.

King Ghidorah's escort of F-22s engaged Godzilla, distracting him long enough for Ghidorah to land a massive blow to Godzilla's head. The massive reptillian beast collapsed almost instantly. Back at the Futurian Mothership, Chuck reported that Godzilla's vitals had flatlined, and that King Ghidorah had done it's job. Almost immediatly after, Chuck informed the scientists and General McCarthy of their true intentions: With Godzilla no longer a factor, the Futurians could now rise to hold absolute power over Earth, with King Ghidorah as their sword. Grabbing Godzilla's seemingly lifeless body with all 3 heads, Ghidorah flew the dinosaur several miles out into the Pacific ocean before dumping the body which plunged into it's watery grave. In reality however, Chuck had disabled Godzilla's vital monitor to further convince that the creature was dead. Godzilla was infact very much alive, but hanging on by a mere thread. His bones broken and his life slowly fading, Godzilla lay at the bottom of the Pacific seemingly hopeless.

Meanwhile the Futurians used King Ghidorah as their workhorse, destroying whatever city they desired like a mindless puppet. Military actions against King Ghidorah failed miserably afterall, if Godzilla couldnt stop Ghidorah, what hope did they have? Radical ideas where thrown around as to how to destroy the monster and in effect the Futurians. One such idea was to revive Godzilla. At first the idea was shunned, explaining that a revived, powered up Godzilla would be far more dangerous that King Ghidorah. At this point though, they where desperate enough to try anything. And so, the US military send a single Los Angeles class nuclear submarine to seek out Godzilla and revive it using a torpedo loaded with a powerful radioactive isotope which would give Godzilla the nessisary boost he needed to fight. Arriving at Godzilla's location, the sub fired it's "Rejuvination Torpedo" at Godzilla. It's effects where almost instant, Godzilla's wounds began to heal faster than before and soon the mighty beast rose once more! However Godzilla wanted more, and immediatly set his eyes on the nuclear submarine which had saved him from the brink of death. In a violent outburst, Godzilla lashed out at the sub, tearing it apart and absorbing it's nuclear core. This additonal boost of radioactive materiel caused Godzilla to increase exceptionally in both size and power. Revived and violently angry to say the least, Godzilla immediatly set out to find King Ghidorah and spill it's blood.

Powers and abilities:

Thick, scaly hide: Godzilla's entire body is covered in hard, bony plates which protect him from a wide variety of attacks including nuclear bombardment. The only known weapons to have peirced Godzilla's flesh where Mechagodzilla's HELIOS eye beams and Gigan's buzzsaw. Upon coser examination, Godzilla's armored flesh is structured similar to the armor of a samurai with tiny interlocking and overlapping bone plates.

Thermonuclear ray: Has the power of a concentrated nuclear blast and can vaporize most metals within .45 seconds of exposure. Leaves behind heavy levels of radiation. Godzilla's dorsal spines usually flash or crackle bright blue before this weapon is used, giving some indication when it's about to be put to use.

Radiation absorption: Godzilla's body is able to absorb radiation by unknown means. He can use this absorbed radiation as a means to augment certain abilities lke regeneration.

Nuclear Pulse: Godzilla is able to release stored atomic energy with a tremendous force that can severely damage anything on and around him for several dozen yards.

Regeneration: Typtically Godzilla can regenerate small to medum wounds in a matter of seconds or minutes. Larger wounds take about an hour or so to heal UNLESS he has absorbed ample amounts of radiation in which case the process would be cut down to a few minutes.
